This Saturday, May 18 marks the Grand Canyon National Park’s 6th annual Celebrate Wildlife Day. Visitors will have the chance to explore the Grand Canyon and discover certain wildlife that calls the area home.
While it technically kicks off this Friday, May 17, in the evening, the event really takes off the following day. Guests will have their choice of free indoor and outdoor programs, family friendly activities, exhibits and live animal demonstrations; all available throughout the day at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center from 10 am to 4 pm.
Then, in the evening, a special program called “Grand Canyon Wildlife: Rim to River,” will explore the Canyon’s diverse habitats from rim to river and meet its furred, feathered, and finned inhabitants along the way.
